Helping new fashion brands launch & thrive on Shopify

I have worked with multiple newly launched international Shopify fashion brands, including AKINGS, Catkin, Greenhorse, Vermany, and American Rag, helping them establish and optimize their online presence. Each brand catered to a unique audience, requiring tailored strategies to fit different demographics, shopping behaviors, and market trends.


My role in Shopify store setup & management

I handled the complete A-Z Shopify setup, ensuring that each brand had a fully customized, operational store in less than 21 days. This included configuring themes, setting up domains and payment gateways, and ensuring seamless order fulfillment by integrating essential apps like Oberlo, Spocket, Stocky, and TradeGecko for global inventory management.


To streamline operations and scale efficiently, I implemented automated order fulfillment, CRM tools like HubSpot and Klaviyo, and localized content strategies to match different market preferences. I developed SEO-driven product descriptions, localized marketing campaigns, and region-specific pricing models, ensuring each store effectively engaged with its target audience.


A crucial part of my role was observing and analyzing customer behavior on the stores. Using Shopify Analytics, Hotjar, and Google Analytics, I identified pain points, optimized UX, and improved conversion funnels. I tracked key metrics such as bounce rates, session durations, and checkout drop-offs, then adjusted store layouts, product placements, and marketing tactics accordingly to boost engagement and retention.


Additionally, I focused on brand scaling by refining ad targeting, implementing data-driven decision-making, and setting up automated workflows for retargeting and email marketing. This helped in reducing customer acquisition costs (CAC) while improving repeat purchases and lifetime value (LTV).


Challenges new brands faced & how I solved them

  • Navigating Different Market Demographics & Shopping Behaviors: Each country had unique buying habits, currency preferences, and trust factors. I implemented multi-currency support, region-based pricing, and localized content strategies to build customer confidence and improve conversions.

  • Low Brand Awareness & Market Penetration: As new brands, they struggled to establish credibility. I optimized SEO-driven content, influencer partnerships, and customer review integrations to create brand authority.

  • Understanding & Optimizing Customer Behavior: Without customer insights, stores were running ineffective campaigns. I leveraged heatmaps, A/B testing, and analytics to refine store design, improve checkout experiences, and optimize product placements.

  • High Cart Abandonment & Low Conversion Rates: Many visitors abandoned carts before completing purchases. I introduced abandoned cart recovery strategies, one-click checkout options, and UX improvements to increase sales.

  • Scaling International Operations & Automating Workflows: Handling customer service, logistics, and marketing across multiple regions was challenging. I integrated chatbots, automated email flows, and predictive analytics to streamline operations.

  • Managing Global Logistics & Order Fulfillment: Shipping delays and inventory mismatches created operational bottlenecks. I optimized supply chain management by integrating real-time tracking, warehouse automation tools, and multi-warehouse fulfillment strategies.


By handling both technical execution and data-driven business strategies, I ensured these brands not only launched successfully but also optimized for long-term scalability, automation, and customer-centric growth in diverse international markets.


Akings: AKINGS, known for its bold streetwear, needed a seamless online experience that matched its brand identity.

I helped shape this by setting up and managing their Shopify store, ensuring smooth operations and CRM integration. Beyond just the technical setup, I focused on crafting compelling product descriptions, blog content, and legal pages that resonated with their audience.

To enhance user experience, I redesigned the store with a large-block vintage aesthetic, optimized it for SEO and fast loading, and structured the content for clarity and engagement—ensuring every detail reflected the brand’s premium feel.



Greenhorse: A brand rooted in nature and purity, Greenhorse needed an online presence that reflected its ethos. I crafted a soothing forest-inspired color palette to reinforce its branding and designed a minimalist Shopify theme for a clean, organic feel.


My focus was on blog writing, product descriptions, and SEO, ensuring content aligned with the brand’s values while driving engagement. Alongside this, I managed the store’s setup, operations, and CRM, optimizing speed, structure, and overall functionality for a seamless shopping experience.



Catkin: Bringing a Chinese luxury beauty brand to a global audience required a deep dive into its heritage, culture, and customer expectations. As a feminine-focused brand, I chose a subtle pink-toned theme that resonated with elegance and purity, ensuring the design reflected both its artistic roots and premium appeal.


One major challenge was understanding the cultural essence behind Catkin’s formulations, which emphasize pure, chemical-free makeup inspired by Chinese traditions. Through thoughtful product descriptions, engaging blogs, and structured content, I highlighted the importance of clean beauty while narrating the brand’s deep-rooted inspiration from Chinese art and history.


Alongside this, I optimized the store’s SEO, performance, and operational flow, ensuring a seamless experience for customers while preserving the authenticity of the brand’s storytelling.




Vermany: A UK-based fashion brand, meant building its Shopify store from the ground up. I handled everything from store setup, theme customization, and payment gateway integration to product listing and SEO optimization.


The challenge was to create a sleek, modern shopping experience that aligned with the brand’s premium aesthetic. I focused on streamlining e-commerce operations, including inventory management, automated order fulfillment, customer service integration, and multi-channel marketing.


To strengthen the brand’s online presence, I also contributed to content strategy, crafting engaging product descriptions and blog posts that emphasized quality, craftsmanship, and contemporary fashion trends.



American Rag: I managed end-to-end Shopify operations, optimizing order processing, inventory tracking, and customer service for this denim-focused brand. I implemented automated workflows, real-time stock updates, and CRM integration while enhancing site speed, content structure, and SEO-driven product descriptions. By blending classic denim culture with modern e-commerce efficiency, I ensured a seamless shopping experience.
